Totem Design
I ran 3 workshops, one each, with the Beavers, cubs and scouts. The aim of these was to get their ideas as to what they wanted to see on their Totem Pole. At each of the workshops we briefly discussed ideas and then got stuck in to the serious stuff of drawing, cutting and gluing. After much comotion around the scout hall, team working and drawing each group came up with different designs for Totem Poles.
I hope they enjoyed the workshops as I think they came up with some wonderful ideas. I will now be going away to see how I can best use their ideas in the design for the Totem Pole. The photos below show the end results from the workshops.
End March 2010
The following design is the first step in designing the Totem Pole. It shows how I have used the ideas from the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to help me designs the Totem Pole.
