The scout troop, commissioned me (Brian Raymond) to work with the Beavers,Cubs and Scouts to come up with a design for a Totem Pole to celebrate 60 years of scouting at the same venue.  I have planned a series of workshops with them to work through the design part of the project and see what ideas they have for the Totem Pole. 

After this I will arrnage their ideas into a finished drawing and come up with a mock-up of the Totem Pole.  After getting approval from the scout leaders and the church that own the building I will be going ahead and carving it out of a old railway sleeper.

The completed Totem Pole will stand about 2 metres high and be situated next to the front door of the centre.
